IBM ThinkPad A21e 2628 Notebook Does any know how to fix a CRC1 error on an IBM laptop? The POST error code 0175 refers to a CRC (cyclic redundancy check) reading from the EEPROM chip, that data is corrupted, most likely a faulty EEPROM chip. I put the battery on again and turned it on.
