I believe the issue around OSGI class loader has been resolved here: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CAMEL-8796?jql=text%20~%20%22Schematron%22. Please don't fill out this field. But we would really need to have this back ported to the 2.16.x and 2.17.x branches if possible.
