I stil have the same problem. I turned power on & off (repeatedly), unplugged & plugged back in all connections, shut down & restarted system -- all to no avail. Gently grab the belt and slip it up and out of the clip in the back of the scanner assembly. Sanford Are you able to view the web page ? We did not use the printer for a couple months ans=d then when I moved it and plugged it in I am now getting th scan error when turning it on. does anyone have any other suggestions?
I kept getting message that a button was stuck and to release.
I thought my scanner/printer was dead. Cleaned the glass / mirrors and did the #6 reset and it works!
