Designjet 450c Cartridge Light Flashing
When you insert a black printhead does the ready light blink 2 or 3 times yes or no? Now still get cartridge error and NO "load media" light. ??? Have you an idea what to do ?I have some further questions:- I bought an extra memory from ebay. It would not complete the startup self-test and upon inspection I realized that the carriage belt was completely shredded/destroyed. It will also reject the > paper if it is skewed more than one or two degrees (maybe less). There's probably additional info I can provide but didn't want to make this too lengthy. Although the ready light was green.So I have changed many carriages so far, unfortunately without result.I haven't tried your test only with the black one but I'll do it soon. With the black you need to try a known good black printhead.

With my 350C, HPCONFIG used to tell me which cartridge had failed, however now there is no such utility. -- Regards, Ian A. There are 2 memory slot if you open the rear panel.
